The Sweet Leaf Tea Company recalled more than 1.5 million bottles of its tea on Thursday over the possible presence of glass fragments.
The recall covers 16-ounce glass bottles of original, mint & honey, green tea with citrus, half-and-half lemonade, raspberry, and peach that were distributed nationwide between Feb. 27 and Dec. 6.
The Nestlé (NESN-CH) Waters North America-owned brand said in a statement that it had received four complaints from consumers of glass in the product, but no one reported any injuries. The company noted that recall is the result of glass breakage during the filling process of the product.
Consumers can return the product directly to the store it was purchased from or contact Sweet Leaf directly for a replacement product.
